Changes to mail/postage to Virginia Cooperative Extension Field Offices to begin Aug. 3

From: Ray A. Ali, Virginia Cooperative Extension

Effective August 3, 2009, the Extension Distribution Center (EDC) will no longer distribute mail from on-campus to off-campus users. Any mail sent from on-campus to off-campus sites will need to be sent via U.S. mail, and the sender will be responsible for postage.

Anyone sending mail from the Blacksburg campus to Virginia Cooperative Extension field offices (including District Offices, Agricultural Research and Extension Centers, and 4-H Educational Centers) is required to use the corresponding United States mailing address. The Extension Distribution Center mail code (0512) for these types of mailings is no longer valid.

Mailing addresses for the Extension field offices can be found at http://www.ext.vt.edu/offices/index.html. Please include name and department on all mail correspondences.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Bobby Swain. (231-1322)
